Garlic Mustard is an alien (European) and noxious weed. Gardeners should not cultivate this plant in gardens although I have seen them do so.

This highly competitive plant spreads rapidly and effectively blocks sunlight and uses nutrients from which other wildflowers such as Trilliums would normally derive nutritive value.
